This stunning 1969 Ford Mustang isn’t just any Mustang; it’s one of only 17 officially licensed Boss 429 continuations by Classic Recreations. Starting with an original 1969 Mustang body, Classic Recreations transformed it into a Boss 429, complete with all the iconic design cues – hood scoop, quarter-panel scoops, front spoiler, and Boss 429 fender badges.
Under the hood lies an 815-horsepower, 572ci “Boss Nine” V8 engine paired with a six-speed Tremec manual transmission. This powerhouse features a 4340 steel crankshaft and connecting rods, Diamond forged pistons, aluminum cylinder heads, WW Engineering aluminum roller rockers, a single-plane intake manifold, a Holley electronic fuel injection system, and a Be Cool radiator.
The interior boasts a black finish with TMI leather bucket seats, a custom center console, RJS harnesses, air conditioning, a premium sound system linked to a Pioneer CD stereo, a Lecarra aluminum steering wheel, and custom Classic Recreations gauges.
This Mustang is loaded with custom features, including a four-link rear suspension, tubular upper and lower front control arms, adjustable coilovers, chassis reinforcements, forged 18″ American Racing wheels, and a custom exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers.
Reportedly the star of the 2020 SEMA show, this unique Boss 429 is now up for auction. Visit Bring a Trailer and get ready to bid on this extraordinary fusion of classic design and modern muscle car performance.
