1980 Ford Mustang Production & Sales Numbers
The third-generation (TGM) was a complete departure from previous Mustangs when it arrived in 1979 and while the first year saw strong sales, the dreaded second year doldrums were quick to follow. Sales fell 26.66% in 1980, down from 369,936 units to 271,322 units.
