Commemorating the 55th anniversary of the Shelby GT500, the 2022 Ford Shelby GT500 Heritage Edition is a remarkable farewell to this iconic line, much like the Heritage editions of the Ford GT in 2006 and Shelby GT350 in 2020.
This GT500 Heritage Edition, adorned with hand-painted white Heritage stripes (a $12,500 option), represents the pinnacle of Mustang power, boasting a supercharged 5.2L/760 HP V-8 engine delivering 625 lb-ft of torque, coupled with a Tremec 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Additionally, it comes with the $18,500 Carbon Fiber Track Pack, featuring 20-inch exposed carbon-fiber wheels with locks, an exposed carbon fiber rear wing, adjustable strut-top mounts, Recaro leather-trimmed seats, a rear-seat delete, and exposed carbon fiber on the instrument panel.
The Technology Package includes a premium Bang and Olufsen 12-speaker stereo, voice-activated touchscreen, navigation, and blind spot/cross-traffic alert systems.
