While the purists will cry foul at this, we here at MustangSpecs enjoy a well done, tasteful restomod. Sometimes it’s because the car is too far gone in terms of mechanicals to use the originals, sometimes it’s a choice to put a modern engine in a classic body, but whatever the reason, seeing a project come together and produce a stunning Mustang is just somehow so satisfying.
Restomods, by their very definition, can vary from a complete reworking of a car from the chassis up all the way to fully restoring the look of the classic car but modifying the mechanical bits. There is no one true definition of it other than a restomod doesn’t try to be as close to the original as possible.
