Last year, Ford Performance unveiled the Mustang FP800S concept, a supercharged beast that many call the “budget” Mustang GTD. At its core is a Whipple-based Ford Performance supercharger mated to the fourth-generation 5.0L Coyote V8, pushing an incredible 810 horsepower at the crank.
But the FP800S isn’t just about raw power—it also benefits from a half-shaft upgrade kit, an enhanced wheel and tire package, improved brakes, and subtle appearance tweaks. Best of all, when installed at a dealer or ASE-certified shop, it comes with a reassuring 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty.
Performance isn’t limited to straight-line speed. The FP800S kit includes a Ford Performance street lowering kit, refining handling, and stance. Despite the lower ride height, it effortlessly accommodates Ford Performance R1 wheels—19×10.5 up front and 19×11 in the rear—wrapped in high-performance rubber. Black Ford Performance lug nuts complete the aggressive wheel setup.
Visually, the FP800S makes its presence known. Up front, a modular grille with gray inserts adds to its sharp aesthetic, while Ford Performance badging graces both the grille and rear. The trunk applique is swapped for a gloss black unit from Air Design, adding a sleek finishing touch.
