This 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback currently listed for sale on Collecting Cars has been modified using numerous performance and cosmetic upgrades, making it a track-ready version of the classic ‘pony car.’
Finished in Raven Black, it sports a carbon-fiber front splitter and door mirror covers, along with a custom fiberglass nose cone, bonnet, rear bumper, front wings, and rear quarter panels. It rides on 17-inch Minilite split-rim center-lock alloy wheels with Yokohama AV1-35i tires.
The interior includes black vinyl-trimmed Sparco bucket seats, an FIA-approved roll cage, blue Willans racing harnesses, a machined aluminum gear lever extension, a black vinyl dash, a Stack digital dashboard, a custom center console with toggle switches, and a detachable Alcantara Momo steering wheel with button controls.
Under the hood is an upgraded 433-cubic inch (7.0-liter) ‘429 Super Cobra Jet’ V8, producing up to 624 bhp. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed Tremec TKO II manual transmission with a Quaife torque-sensing limited-slip differential.
The engine features a SCAT super-light billet crank and connecting rods, JE forged pistons, Manley stainless valves, a T&D roller rocker system, FMS Super Cobra Jet aluminum heads, a Crower custom grind billet roller lifter camshaft, and a Danny Bee camshaft belt drive.
