FOR SALE: 2010 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet Liberty

One of only six produced with a Whipple-supercharged 5.4-liter aluminum V8 engine paired to a Liberty five-speed manual transmission and a Strange Engineering 9" rear axle

In 2008, Ford resurrected the spirit of Super Stock Eliminator by introducing a new generation of factory Cobra Jet drag racers, with only 50 units produced. One of these cars made history by helping racer John Calvert secure the Sportsman Eliminator title at the 2009 Winternationals.

After a year devoted to further enhancements, Ford unveiled a fleet of significantly upgraded Cobra Jets in 2010, including this particular model, No. 31 of the 50 manufactured that year. Although it is a genuine factory drag racer, it has never been raced and has just 3 miles on the odometer.

This car is one of only six produced with a Whipple-supercharged 5.4-liter aluminum V8 engine rated at over 500 horsepower, paired with a Liberty five-speed manual transmission and a Strange Engineering 9″ rear axle.

Finished in Performance White with black cloth upholstery, it features a cowl hood, Cobra Jet graphics, louvered quarter window covers, a rear diffuser, 15″ forged Weld Racing wheels, Strange Engineering four-piston brake calipers, Ford Racing adjustable dampers, bucket seats, RJS Racing harnesses, and a roll cage.
