Ford produced the 2017 Shelby GT350 and GT350R in limited numbers as high-performance Mustangs, featuring Ford’s first-ever flat-plane crankshaft V8, similar to those found in exotics like Ferrari and Porsche. With an 8,200 RPM redline, the 5.2L Voodoo V8 delivers 526 HP, making it the most powerful naturally aspirated engine Ford has built.
The MagneRide adaptive suspension fine-tunes handling in real-time with advanced magnetorheological dampers, working alongside Michelin tires and Brembo brakes to maximize performance. Aerodynamic enhancements include an aluminum front end sloped two inches lower than the Mustang GT for improved downforce at speed.
This 2017 Shelby GT350R, finished in Lightning Blue Metallic with white and red racing stripes, has just 587 miles on the odometer. Factory-equipped with carbon-fiber wheels, a carbon-fiber wing, MagneRide dampers, and Brembo brakes, it also includes the R-Electronics Package with a touchscreen infotainment system and navigation. Inside, Recaro sport bucket seats are trimmed in Ebony cloth and Miko suede, with a rear-seat delete exclusive to the R model.
The flat-plane crank Voodoo V8 is paired with a six-speed Tremec TR-3160 manual transmission and a 3.73:1 Torsen limited-slip differential. Additional cooling systems for the engine, transmission, and differential come standard. Currently listed for sale on Bring a Trailer, this low-mileage GT350R presents a rare opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts alike. The car comes with a clean Carfax report, title, and reproduction window stickers.
