From its origins in the 1960s, the Shelby name has been synonymous with high-performance, limited-production muscle cars. By 2006, Shelby had rejoined the Mustang lineup, and in 2007, the GT500 became part of Ford’s factory offerings. Shelby took things even further with the GT500 Super Snake and the extreme Shelby 1000, named for their immense power output.
Ford’s continued refinement of the Mustang led to the introduction of the sixth-generation S550 Mustang in 2015, featuring an independent rear suspension that transformed it into a true sports car. The standard Mustang GT was already powerful, but Shelby’s philosophy demanded more, leading to the creation of the 2019 Ford Shelby Super Snake, an even more aggressive and capable machine.
This 2019 Ford Mustang GT Shelby Super Snake coupe, finished in Shadow Black with a black and gray interior, embodies that philosophy. It features a 6-speed manual transmission and has approximately 9,800 miles on the odometer. Originally a standard Mustang GT, it was transformed by Shelby American into #92 of only 119 Super Snakes built for 2019.

The Shelby Performance suspension and Brembo braking system refine handling, while the exterior receives aggressive Shelby styling, including a ram air hood, racing stripes, and custom front fascia. Inside, it boasts custom leather seating, a short-throw shifter, and auxiliary dash gauges.
