In 2022, Ford produced a limited number of Shelby GT500 Heritage Edition Mustangs to honor the debut of Shelby’s big-block GT500 in 1967. This particular examples, with chassis number N1285, has just 10 miles on the odometer and is currently listed for sale on Bring A Trailer.
All Heritage Edition GT500s were painted in Brittany Blue—a color popular in 1967—and this one features Wimbledon White vinyl stripes running along the sides and over the top. This collector-grade car also comes with the Technology package, which enhances the Ebony interior with Recaro leather-trimmed seats, a premium Bang and Olufsen 12-speaker sound system, a voice-activated touchscreen, navigation, and blind spot/cross-traffic alert systems.
Ford declared the 2022 Shelby GT500 to be the most powerful street-legal Ford ever made, thanks to its 5.2L supercharged V8 engine producing 760 HP and 625 lb-ft of torque. That power is delivered through a Tremec 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission to an independent rear suspension with a Torsen differential and 3.73:1 gears.
Performance is further enhanced by a 3.73:1 axle ratio, exposed carbon fiber 20-inch lightweight wheels, a MagneRide damping system, Brembo brake calipers with two-piece ventilated rotors, and the Handling package, which adds adjustable strut top mounts.
