To mark the final production year of the Shelby GT500, Ford introduced the Heritage Edition—a limited run of 225 cars inspired by the original 1967 Shelby GT500.
Offered for sale on Bring A Trailer, this 2022 GT500 Heritage Edition sports a Brittany Blue exterior with optional Wimbledon White vinyl stripes over an Ebony leather interior and has only 91 miles on the odometer. Driven by a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 producing 760 HP, it accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and reaches 180 mph.
The braking system features 16.5-inch front and 14.6-inch rear ventilated discs with red Brembo calipers. Other performance elements include Ford’s MagneRide suspension, adjustable power steering, and five driving modes: Normal, Sport, Track, Drag, and Weather.
Built for peak performance, this model comes with a Tremec 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, optional rear-seat delete, an exposed carbon-fiber rear wing, Torsen 3.73:1 torque-sensing rear axle, engine oil cooler, and 20-inch carbon-fiber wheels. Additional features include a wheel lock kit, keyless entry with pushbutton start, SYNC 3 infotainment with an 8-inch touchscreen, rearview camera, tilt/telescopic steering, and cruise control.
