LS-Swapped Mustang vs Monster GT-R: Drag Race

This epic clash is part of Hoonigan’s “This vs That” series, where heavily modified cars duke it out on the drag strip. With both contenders boasting absurd power figures, predicting a winner is nearly impossible.

For this episode, we got a 2012 Ford Mustang taking on a 2016 Nissan GT-R R35. Now both of these cars are far from ordinary. The Mustang is a purpose-built drag monster with an 1,100-1,200 horsepower thanks to a LS swap, quadrupled turbochargers, and a stripped-down, caged interior.

The GT-R, while not entirely stock, is no slouch either. A stroker kit and larger turbos have inflated its output to a staggering 1,500 horsepower. Unlike the Mustang, the GT-R retains its interior, a testament to its road-going origins.

Both cars are monsters, but the Mustang’s rear-wheel drive and the GT-R’s all-wheel drive setup will definitely make a lot of difference here. So, who do you think will win? Watch the video to find out!
