Mustang Of The Day: 2012 Ford Mustang Roush Stage 3 Coupe

Internally dubbed “S197,” the 5th-generation Mustang debuted in 2005 with a design steeped in heritage, a new platform, and an optional 24-valve V8 engine. Its extended wheelbase provided a significantly more comfortable ride compared to its predecessor. Production concluded in 2014, passing the Pony Car torch to the “S550” Mustang.

This 2012 Ford Mustang coupe has been upgraded with the Roush Stage 3 package. It boasts a Performance White exterior over Charcoal Black leather upholstery. Key features include 20″ five-spoke forged wheels, HID headlights, fog lights, Roush-specific bodywork, a Roush suspension system, a performance brake kit, a rear spoiler, quarter window louvers, a CD stereo with a Shaker 500 audio system, air conditioning, and cruise control.

Under the hood, the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 is enhanced with a Roush 2300 ROUSHcharger, delivering a Roush-rated 540 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. This power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission and a 3.73:1 limited-slip differential.
