The Ford Mustang FP350S is a turnkey race car designed specifically for track racing competitions, with a limited production run of just 50 units in 2017. Developed for Trans Am and SCCA racing classes, it continues the Mustang’s winning legacy.
Powered by a 5.2-liter Voodoo V8 engine producing approximately 580 horsepower, the FP350S is paired with a TREMEC 3160 6-speed manual transmission featuring an integral pump and Ford Performance shifter. It also includes a Torsen differential with 3.73 gears.
The chassis is a seam-welded, weight-reduced unibody with Sachs Race coilover dampers, adjustable caster/camber plates, and Ford Performance adjustable race steering. Braking is handled by AP Racing Radi-CAL 6-piston front calipers and 4-piston rear calipers, with race ABS and brake cooling ducts.
The exterior features a carbon matrix splitter, adjustable rear wing, FP350S graphics, and tow hooks. Safety equipment includes an FIA fire-suppression system, full FIA roll cage, MOTEC Data Acquisition System, Sparco FIA racing seat, quick-release steering wheel, and a Sabelt FIA racing harness.
