The 2024 Mustang EcoBoost is a Surprisingly Capable Pony Car

Joe Raiti from Raiti’s Rides on YouTube is back with another exciting review, this time featuring the redesigned 2024 Ford Mustang EcoBoost.

While some enthusiasts dismiss the EcoBoost Mustang for lacking a V8, it’s worth remembering that early Mustangs didn’t always come with V8 engines either—some even had straight-six options. So before ruling out this version, keep in mind that its performance might surprise you.

The 2024 Mustang EcoBoost is powered by a 2.3L turbocharged inline-4 engine, producing 315 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. Quite impressive for an entry-level model, and in fact, this engine surpasses many early V8 Mustangs in terms of power.

It comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission, as Ford has discontinued the manual option for the EcoBoost. While some may miss the manual, the automatic has been refined for quicker and smoother shifts. The Mustang EcoBoost boasts a 0-60 mph time of 4.4 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 13.2 seconds.
