What Would The Mustang Look Like If We Lived On Mars?

First off, we realize we don’t live on Mars. However, humanity has always had a fascination with red planet, from science fiction stories, sending multiple probes, and even right now people working on space stations, stopover points, and designing ships to take humanity there in the next 20 or so years. Mars has been in the news a lot over the last couple of decades, so the invasive thoughts won out in our minds and we thought: What would the Mustang look like if or when we get to the red planet?

While the thought of it isn’t even in the realm of possibility at the present, if we were developing a pony car for Mars, there are a few considerations that would need to be worked through. There is a harsh environment, a ton of dust and high winds, the lack of oxygen on Mars to sustain an internal combustion engine, suspension and tires suited to the Martian surface, and so much more. So let’s put aside disbelief for a moment, and play around a little with the thought of a Ford Mustang on Mars.
